What happens when you sign up? You’ll receive a signup confirmation and an email when FollowTether launches. You’re joining our email list—not creating an app account or connecting to YouTube. Once the app launches, you can connect your Google account and choose the alerts you want.
How does FollowTether work? It checks your YouTube subscriptions at regular intervals, so alerts may arrive some time after a change or a new upload. If a channel is no longer in your monitored subscriptions, we’ll let you know so you can check it on YouTube. We can’t tell you why it disappeared. You can watch videos in FollowTether when YouTube allows them to play in other apps; otherwise, you can open them on YouTube. Features such as subscribing, liking and commenting will ask for additional Google permission before you use them. These controls are currently being tested ahead of public release.
